Why I Do This — And Why It Matters Now More Than Ever
I create heartfelt tributes that speak love out loud - clearly, courageously, and in time for it to be truly felt.

Before my film work officially became “Lines & Legacies”, I didn’t realize how deeply editing peoples stories would impact me. Each video I create is more than just a project. It’s a window into someone’s Love, their memories, their connection with their family. And every time I sit down to edit, the weight of the stories, the laughter, the tears, the Legacy that’s being shared made very clear to me that this work matters.
I’ve done several Memorial/Celebration of Life videos in the past. This work that has brought Love and Connection and much needed Healing to families that were grieving is a great source of pride for me. And there’s one thing, one phrase I’ve heard from people over and over again:
“I wish I told them…”
That sentence hits hard every single time.
As much as I love hearing people recount tales of Loved Ones that are no longer with us and crafting videos that enhance those stories, I firmly believe that we deserve these kinds of celebratory videos for the Living. My desire to craft family-narrated montages and family-centered documentaries is not just to honor those that have passed, but to celebrate those that are here with us now, not just in hindsight.
We live in a time filled with so much noise, and division, and far too much hate. But I know, that Love still runs deep in families, in friendships, in everyday moments. And that Love deserves to be seen heard and celebrated.
That’s what Lines & Legacies is all about.
This is why I do what I do.
Because people deserve to know the difference they’ve made in someone’s life while they’re still here to hear it.
So let’s spread the Love! Let’s get your stories told!
Me and my Nanay (grandmother). Her Love was quiet, but we felt it in every gesture.
